As Nebraska's largest urban center, Omaha and its residents deserve a link to University of Nebraska resources that are relevant to their needs. The Douglas/Sarpy Urban Programs Department exists to develop leaders and build capacity within neighborhood associations and community organizations.

Urban Program staff educates members and facilitates partnerships to further the goals of neighborhoods and other community groups.
