Financial Eligibility Guidelines
EFNEP:
Have an income at
130% of the poverty guidelines and/or receive food stamps and/or
enrolled in the WIC program. Those who have one or
more children living at home or pregnant women SNAP-Ed:
Have an income at
130% of the poverty guidelines and/or receive food stamps and/or
enrolled in the WIC program. Those single, families with or
without children, older adults, pregnant or parenting teens, and
youth.
2001 For each additional
family member over a family size of 8 add $252.00 at poverty and
$328.00 at 130% of poverty. NOTE: To be eligible
for the NEP program families with children and older adults should
not only fall within the financial guidelines, but also have other
limitations. The limitations might include: limited education,
inadequate nutrition, poor food-related behaviors, and difficulties
managing food money. Families enrolled in the WIC program are also
eligible for enrollment in the NEP program |
