Trick or treat-Halloween candy or trinkets?

Halloween is the start of the holiday food eating frenzy. Children wait all year long for Halloween and the goodies they are going to get. Recent research has proven that children are just as happy receiving a toy or a small gift instead of a sweet treat. Hard candy is unsafe for very small children-but a small coloring book and crayons from the local discount store is just as fun for a small child. Other ideas for Halloween gifts-stickers, children's tattoos, small books, and bubbles are all fun, and inexpensive. Be creative, candy is great-but other small things are just as great!
