The 4-H program in Douglas and Sarpy counties is to help youth
in the counties reach their fullest potential by utilizing the
knowledge base of the University through the extension program,
offering opportunities and programs for youth to learn by doing,
and helping youth learn life skills that will serve as valuable
tools for the future.
4-H is an organization for boys and girls who are 5 to 18 on

Donations Needed
The Eastern Nebraska 4-H Center will be hosting “CAMP IN A CAN”
for youth ages 5-8 throughout the summer of 2008, and for
Outdoor Ed Education for school students from April-November
2008. For “CAMP IN A CAN” to be successful, camp volunteers need
craft donations. These can be leftover items that you have just
sitting around the house, they do not necessarily have to be
brand new, just “gently used.” They can be dropped off at the UNL Douglas/Sarpy Extension central office in the box labeled
“CAMP IN A CAN DONATIONS.”
